Pace University Greek life took Zoom Event planning to an incredibly large scale this February! Virtual preparation started back in September 2020 for Panhellenic Council, featuring Honors students Eena Dietterick, Tori Schmidt, and myself. With 24 volunteers, the recruitment team managed to facilitate a 5-day virtual event from February 9 to February 13, 2021, with four different zoom links per day. Over 200 sorority members from Kappa Delta, Sigma Delta Tau, and Phi Mu got to meet and recruit 52 new students to Greek life. One of the organizations even had a celebrity guest on the final day of recruitment: Dance Moms alumnae Christi Lukasiak! During a school year where participation in extracurriculars has been at a record low, the Panhellenic team was pleased to be able to promote and plan effectively to get those numbers to where they once were.
